Beginning her career as a middle school social studies teacher, Verena took her love of storytelling and experiential learning out of the classroom to pursue a lifelong interest in museum exhibits. Since joining History Factory in 2017, she has worked on a multitude of exhibit projects, specializing in bridging the divide between digital and traditional exhibit experiences.
“Storytelling is an art form. It helps us build relationships, foster creativity and make sense of our place in the world. It’s exciting to wake up every day and think about how we can do that for our clients.”
Verena’s work at History Factory has expanded to encompass various projects across industries and businesses, bringing creative concepts to life using different mediums such as augmented reality, animation and projection mapping. At her core, she still feels like an educator, trying to find teachable moments and stories that resonate with audiences. Outside of work, you can find Verena in her happy place—the science fiction/fantasy section of her local bookstore with coffee in hand.
