Chris joined History Factory in 2003 and spent the first part of his career working on archival implementation projects, shaping our digital-first approach to collection access. After assuming managerial responsibility for the archives area in 2007, Chris focused on helping build History Factory’s archival consulting practice. In addition to conducting strategic assessments and helping continuously improve our archival planning methodology, Chris has played a key role in modernizing and standardizing digitization and metadata workflows. He has contributed to several technology transformation initiatives aimed at applying new digital asset management and web-based content delivery capabilities to archival solution design.
As senior director, Chris is responsible for the overall management and administration of the archives area and leading decision-making on issues that affect archives policy and process. He works closely with other members of the management team to develop new ways to reach potential clients and archives users.
