The geometric design of the New Balance exhibit is fresh. It’s also a throwback. Based on the “chicken foot” design that inspired the first athletic shoe, the exhibit structure was built to fill the lobby of the company’s new custom building in Boston Landing. Its branching panels showcase highlights of New Balance history, which was concurrently being preserved and made accessible across the institution as archival assets were collected from the old building. Out with the old and in with the New Balance!
